What to know before downloading and using EaseInk.

Is EaseInk free?

Yes. EaseInk is released under the MIT License.

Do I need an account?

No. EaseInk works with local Markdown files and does not require an account.

Are documents uploaded to the cloud?

No. Documents and local images are not automatically uploaded. Network images are read from their original URL for display.

Which Windows or Mac download should I choose?

Windows users choose x64. On Mac, Apple M-series chips use arm64; Intel processors use x64.

Why can macOS show a Gatekeeper warning?

Builds with Apple Developer credentials can be signed and notarized. Builds without those credentials use ad-hoc signing and may require right-click Open or removing quarantine on first launch.

Which Markdown syntax is supported?

Headings, emphasis, strikethrough, inline code, quotes, lists, tasks, links, tables, YAML Front Matter, fenced code, Mermaid, and KaTeX math are supported.

Can EaseInk export PDF and HTML?

Yes. It exports PDF and standalone HTML with theme styling, local images, Mermaid, math, and code settings.
